Pros
The pay is okay. The fellow communicators are very friendly and helpful. I really liked the games we played to raise morale.
Cons
Very poor training. You are supposed to get 40 hours of extensive training, and you don't. The trainer showed us the same movies several times, just to fill in the time. Most of the time, we sat and talked among ourselves. That said, when we had to go on the phones, we didn't have a strong understanding of what to do. When we called for help, it took up to 10 minutes for someone to come. Instead of showing you what to do, they did it for you, so you don't learn how to handle the situation properly. There was constant stress because, if you did not reach your goal, you get a warning, then ultimately could lose your job. With the supervisors not willing to come when called, it was hard to certify.
