Pros

Friendly and supportive supervisor staff. Monetary incentives for attendance and performance too. Thorough training program and accessibility to help when I need it. We manage to have FUN at work!

Cons

Some of the customers I speak with are rude and some just hang up on me before I can let them know why I'm calling.

Pros

Flexible work-hours; your fellow co-workers (AKA: "Communicators") are some of the nicest of any workplace...

Cons

You will be underpaid and overworked. And in time, you will become extraordinarily frustrated as well...it usually takes three months and your brain has had enough of it. Your computer scripting will supply you with nothing but inaccuracies. Depending on the call center you work with, your Supervisors on staff offer little assistance or resolution to customer complaints or technical issues (mostly because they didn’t know how to resolve said issues). You will be forced to provide the resolution to the Customers yourself because the Supervisors and Management are tremendously lazy at responding to calls for assistance as well. This job is a nice "buffer". But formulate an exit quickly. This is not the company to start a career with, nor one that will pay you a competitive wage. You are hired for your voice box and nothing more. PS: They haven’t cleaned the facilities in years. Sicknesses abound.

Pros

working from home was good for me and anyone who had health problems

Cons

Little by little, benefits, bonuses, pay rates, were eroded. Changes often made without notice, including the closing of one work-at-home "room", and assignment to another "room" that seemed more like reform school than workplace. "No talking in chat except work related; you are REQUIRED to train for previously voluntary inbound campaigns, YOU MAY NOT question anything said to you by managers who must have been spawned from (take your pick) Hitler, Torquemada, the devil, etc. They seem to have been given the authority to be verbally abusive to any empolyee who does not kowtow to them
