Pros

Infosys is a great company if you are starting your career and that too only in India as will get to work hands on multiple projects .

Cons

Infosys should never be your first choice as a company to work outside India specially in the US . I have worked with the company for more than 2 years and there has not been a single instant of HR/ peoples team reaching out to check . Not a single event organized (even online ) for team building . It’s a project specific company and there is no company culture , in India there is but not outside . Also you will never get your bonus , so don’t go by bonus in your offer letter . Feedbacks are non existent even though there is a system . Stay away if you can .

Extremely unorganized

Pros

Got payed to do nothing.

Cons

I spent the first two months getting trained, and for the next 8 months they could not find a project for me to work on. FOR 8 MONTHS I DID NOTHING. Management was terrible, after I finished training I wasn’t assigned a manager and had to spend the next two weeks calling random people in the company to figure out who was my manager and where I was supposed to go. I wish I could say I was some edge case, but I know multiple people from training who are still in similar situations. The company is extremely unorganized. Avoid this company at all costs, it may sound nice to get paid to do nothing, but when you’re interviewing for your next job and you have to explain what you do at your current job, telling them you do nothing won’t go over well. This company is the place careers for to die, especially for new grads, you want to have a strong first job where you can build skills, you will not find that here.

Pros

- two month training where hotel and food is paid for - can be on bench for several months without getting fired

Cons

- lack of communication and transparency from managers - low salary, especially if you live in a high cost-of-living city because all associates are offered the same salary no matter where you end up after training - you're put into situations that you're not experienced in and you're expected to do the job - depending on your project, but you have to have meetings late at night with team members in India so time differences makes work-life balance difficult - takes awhile to get a project
