      Pros

      Specific to Enterprise solutions BU : Decent place to get a foot hold into the MNC for people coming from manufacturing background and have worked on enterprise software ( read SAP ,Oracle, Peoplesoft etc ). The initial role would introduce you to the kind of work done by the IT service industry. Though Infosys is yet to break the barrier of the big names in getting into core consulting ,the work done in the support and minor development side is quite decent.

      Cons

      Not enough Work life Balance. Outdated working policy of having minimum working hours and not allowing to telecommute. The organization is a behemoth and in spite of howmuchsoever qualified and talented one is one will still be a minor cog in the wheel and is dispensable. The peers are ok not exceptional but that would depend on the project one is in as in all companies. not much cutting edge work done in both technical and functional side. Note : This is specific to Enterprise solutions.

      Pros

      Infosys has excellent work culture, It has amazing workplace, Job Security, Best Indian company to work for. Among the best workplace infrastructure in the entire world. Infosys has an excellent work force. probably the best among any IT outsourcing companies. Infosys adapts very well to new challenges in the market.

      Cons

      The salary offered by Infosys is not comparable to other global consulting companies. However the salary is better than other Indian companies. There are too many management layers. Some of the layers like SPM is really flab in the organization. The mid and senior level management could be more strategic.Infosys could work towards improving the work life balance of its employees.

      Pros

      Is a very nice place to work in. The salary is over other companies in Mty. Also the the mix of cultures has been a fun experience. The office is well placed and with good equipment to acomplish our tasks, is not easy to see this in other companies in this country. What I like more is that I have a good balance between my job time and my family time, I dont have to stay in here for long periods or during week ends.. well, not until now... Anyway, I like this place, I feel comfortable, and I hope to stay in here for a long time.

      Cons

      benefits are not so good, we have the minimum according to the law, for instance we only have 15 days of Christmas bonus when other companies give 30 or 60 days, we have only 10 days of vacations when other companies give 15 or more days (in the first year), we dont have saving funx, and other companies do. I like this one very much, because at the end of the year, besides your christmas bonus, you have what you saved in this fund. when I was an employee os new york life, fore each peso, the company places .50 cents (or something like that) . Also we dont have grocery checks (its a kind of benefit in Mx), and so on...
