Pros

The pay rate/range is a plus

Cons

Unsafe working conditions. Racist. Discriminatory. Passive aggressive upper management. Unkind CEO. HUGE staff turnover. You are expected to run the clinic, do the admin, scheduling, take copays, be the pharmacist and be the nurse, making unsafe working conditions. Patients and their families can be unkind. Their current staffing model uses per diem nurses because no one stays.

Growth for our Patients!

Pros

I’ve really enjoyed my experience here. The company has grown significantly over the past couple of years, and with that growth has come a lot of opportunity. There has been a lot of hiring, internal promotions, and investment in infrastructure. It’s exciting to see the organization evolve and expand access to care for patients who truly need it. The mission feels real, and the work being done for patients is meaningful.

Cons

Growth hasn’t always been easy. Like many healthcare organizations expanding quickly, there have been periods of change and adjustment. Communication and processes have improved over time, but there’s still opportunity to continue strengthening alignment as we scale.

Pros

Some may work from home

Cons

The organization struggles significantly with HR practices, executive leadership, and clinical leadership. HR has an outsized level of control over decisions that directly impact clinical operations, despite not being involved in patient care. This imbalance often results in nurses and clinical staff feeling undervalued compared to HR and sales teams—despite being the backbone of safe, effective patient care. Staff are often unsupported, pay is below industry standards, and turnover is consistently high across all departments. Layoffs occur frequently and without a clear long-term strategy. At one point, a large portion of the workforce—reportedly more than half—was laid off as several functions were transitioned to outsourced and overseas call-center or administrative services. This created significant instability and affected remaining staff morale. Many employees (over 50%) were let go in favor of outsourced operations overseas. A concerning pattern exists where candidates are recruited with promising salaries, work extensive hours to build or launch new programs, and are then released shortly after those programs become operational—often within 6–12 months. This creates an unstable working environment and undermines employee trust. There are ongoing concerns about operational shortcuts that impact safety, patient care, and overall quality. Staffing levels are chronically inadequate, with many essential roles—nurses, NPs, IT, pharmacists—left unfilled, leaving the remaining staff overwhelmed and unsupported. Additionally, prospective employees—especially providers—should be aware that publicly available records from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General (HHS-OIG) show that the organization has previously resolved compliance issues related to billing practices. Anyone considering a clinical role should review those documents to fully understand the organization’s history and risk environment. Overall, prospective employees should approach with caution. If an offer seems unusually good, be aware that the longevity, stability, and support promised may not align with the actual experience.
