Pros

This job is very physically demanding. Not for the faint of heart. Its a good way to break into the maritime industry as they are always hiring. You can use it as a stepping stone to get sea days towards upgrading your merchant marine document or you can make a career here and work your way up. Great Benefits

Cons

The company is large and very top heavy. There is little movement at the top and the wheelhouse and engineer positions have long wait times and you might never be able to get there. Some people have been waiting for more than 10 years and should probably give up.

They teach and preach safety and are goal oriented to reach zero harm and zero mob's and has great benifts with good home time and work to get you home in emergency

Cons

Capts are unwilling to promote.and the capts and pilots can be demining and degrading and when new as all know mistakes are made there it's a toung lashing
