Pros

New challenges every day. Great people to work with. Career path and advancement opportunities. Bright outlook for the future. The company really takes care of their employees.

Cons

It's is a big company so at times change is slow to take place, but this isn't a terrible thing. Decisions are properly thought through.

Pros

28/28. Benefits. Will pay for your travel which is greyhound bus and let me tell you it sucks

Cons

If you make it to there training center let me tell you it is not a training center. They are seeing how you work. And if they don't like what they see you don't get hired. Even after doing physical and drug testing. Also if you are out of the oil industry don't even try no matter how well you do in there circus show you will not be hired. Saw 21 ppl out of 42 only get hired.

Pros

Very stable company run by the Ingram family, who treat their employees well, take excellent care of their facilities and are great philanthropists. Very well funded, which made it possible to find the best solutions to almost any problem. Opportunities to give back to the community through volunteerism and matching contribution programs. I always appreciated the Ingram's commitment to charitable giving and using company time and resource to make the world a better place.

Cons

Probably not the best place to work if you want to advance your management career, unless you don't mind putting 15+ years in to do so. Of course if you're a woman or a person of color, probably double that, if not disregard the possibility of advancement altogether. The politics at the staff and middle management level are draconian, and senior management is unable/unwilling to recognize the problem. Being different in any way (thoughts, values, appearance) is not generally appreciated and is most certainly not rewarded. These politics made it possible for a significant portion of the people I worked with to not be all that good at their jobs, safe from termination because they were part of the "in" crowd.
