Pros

Some flexible work hours, but even those are slowly being whittled down

Cons

There are so many fake positive reviews. You can tell, because they all say "no cons as of now." They're clearly combat their many, MANY negative reviews. This company is shady. They have HORRIBLE communication, their HR team is rude and unhelpful, and also a tiny department of inept individuals. The work is boring and tedious and makes you feel like your humanity is nothing. There are harsh time constrictions (you have to clock out ot use the restroom), constant changes (to metrics, KPI, etc) that often make no sense, there is a constant threat of layoff, being asked (strongly encouraged/threatened) to work overtime for no pay, slim to no opportunity for advancement, I could go on and on. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this place, everything feels very dirty and scammy.

Interesting Work, Friendly Coworkers, Bad Communication

Pros

- Middle management is kind and understanding and does their best in the trenches with the other employees - The work is varied and interesting - So-so salary - Fully remote work on a decently flexible schedule - Very few meetings, and meetings are recorded so you can watch later if you can't attend - No flood of emails, so no need to check your inbox constantly to stay current - No one bothers you outside your shift

Cons

- Horrible communication. All company announcements result in widespread confusion. Everyone in management and HR seems to have a different interpretation of company policies and client requirements. Ask two different people and you'll get two different answers. Subsequent attempts by upper management to clarify things are equally confusing and full of conflicting information. - The company kowtows to the unreasonable demands, broken systems, and conflicting guidelines of its big ticket clients. Employees are expected to make up for issues caused by the clients' poor communication and lack of quality control. - No clear path to advancement - No opportunities to upskill within the company - Oppressive client time tracking system - Misleading and incorrect information given to prospective hires - Poor organization of internal documentation, information scattered around multiple folders and files

Pros

- 100% remote - Low stress - I had 3+ months with no work to do, so I was paid for doing nothing - Decent benefits - The vast majority of people I worked with were easygoing

Cons

- Very few (if any) opportunities for growth, development, or advancement - You won't gain any transferable skills aside from being able to tell prospective employers that you "worked in AI" - Some projects are interesting, while others are extremely boring and mind numbing - I was hired through Robert Half as a "writing specialist" and was told the position was writing intensive; however, several projects involved looking at images/videos and clicking checkboxes - I always got the sense that the job wasn't secure, whether it was not having any work for 3+ months, hearing about layoffs, or working on projects that would have made way more financial sense to be assigned to outsourced employees. I also recently saw Innodata advertising for part-time, independant contractor generative AI associates, which leads me to believe they may want to cut full-time employees in this position who receive benefits. - Despite achieving high performance metrics, I only received a modest bonus and didn't receive a salary adjustment after receiving positive feedback in an annual performance review
