Not the best pay in the area - feels as if they do not care about their employees, yet we are the ones keeping them afloat. Benefits are lacking.

The pay is terrible, hardly livable. The Manager while I worked there (I believe she is no longer there, so this may be irrelevant) was absolutely awful. She preached patient safety but scolded a new grad new when she raised concerns about an unsafe assignment. I witnessed her publicly degrate one specific nurse multiple times. When I put in my 2 week notice, she threatened me saying she wouldn't give new employers a good recommendation of me because I didn't give her 6 shifts of notice, even though I gave 2 calendar weeks which was the policy.
