      Pros

      Big company, good benefits, great opportunity to care for people, constantly changing environment.

      Cons

      Lower pay, constantly changing environment, not enough employee appreciation, low yearly raises (and not just during the recession). Corporate environment tends towards unnecessary politics.

      Inova's heart is in the right place

      Pros

      It seems like people really are trying to make things better. I have never felt that a decision was made maliciously. It's healthcare so of course the emphasis right now is to save money, but there haven't been any large-scale, staff-level layoffs in my tenure.

      Cons

      Your personal experience as an employee depends on your direct leader. For me, it's wonderful, but I've heard first hand from others that they don't have the same experiences I have.
