Do yourself a favor and skip this company. It will set your career back and you will have zero work/life balance. You will regret it immediately and start looking for a new job within a few months. Ok for someone right out of school, but the experienced should avoid at all cost.
Everyone's goal(especially management) is to get to the next highest title/pay grade as quickly as possible. This is not achieved through talent or hard work, but by playing politics and throwing others under the bus at every opportunity. The success of the product or improvement to the process takes a back seat. The systems/software take forever to develop and don't function consistently because the entire backbone has been neglected. You are constantly frustrated by failures.
"Leadership" (poor choice of words for this bunch) is only concerned about their next bonus and could care less about the employees. This company does not see their people as an asset. No effort is made to retain and reward. They are constantly laying off(usually right before any bonus or merit increase) and hiring. It is a revolving door that they seem to think is normal. The H1B program is abused and the turnover would be even greater if these folks didn't feel trapped.
Every department/team is a silo. Very few work well together and there are no consequences if you don't. Everyone just points the finger when there is a problem, but no "leader" does anything to foster a collaborative environment as that would actually require some skill and effort.
You are constantly stressed with unrealistic deadlines and ad hoc projects needed right away because some self-absorbed "leader" couldn't be bothered to inform you in a timely manner. They all like to "work from home" and can never be found when needed. I think a 24 hr work week is even stretching it for the favored(aka the yes men). BTW anything other than saying yes to everything will get you labeled as difficult and not a team player.
I could go on, but I'm sure you get the message. You've been warned.
