Pros

Work from home thats about it.

Cons

No raise in almost 4 years, horrible managers no communication to staff, no follow up training, to keep staff up to date on current coding guidelines, harassment regarding productivity due to a software application that is always failing, and as such the downtime is not counted for you productivity, No team building exercises. No room to advance. Attendance occurrences if you call in to use sick time. Out sourcing of american medical records to India and the Philippines. Huge layoffs and no forewarning.

Pros

Been with company over 8 years. Like flexibility of being able to often work from home.

Cons

Upper management focus on themselves. Poor communication, transparency, and integrity from UM. Lack of benefits and raises, massive layoffs over last 12 months with all remaining medical record review staff reduced to 32 hours/week, lack of respect for professional staff. Corporate philosophy of using sticks, rather than carrots, for employee "motivation". Would not recommend if currently seeking employment. Culture has seriously deteriorated over last couple of years.

Pros

I worked for Inovalon for a little over 3 years and must say the peers are friendly

Cons

i) Overpromise/Underdelivery: They've 1-2 massive layoffs per year. They're a public company and looses clients all the time ii) They're known to never pay bonuses-their bonus payouts happen early March and they always have a huge layoff end of February to avoid paying bonuses and merit raises iii) Senior leadership only cares about their own pockets and lies with their employees all the time iv) No transparency and total lack of communication between and within departments v) Work-life balance is zero-was required to work after hours
