The executive team and upper management are not advocates for their employees, only themselves. They could care less about how hard and dedicated you are to your team, and how often you work beyond the standard 8 hours a day. They expect it and don't care about how much time it takes away from your family. Work/Life balance? They have no comprehension of it and don't care about your need to not just be a full time employee, but a full time mom, dad, just a person outside of Inovalon. The executive team expects and demands that the executive assistants get them coffee throughout day and required to get them lunch every day, no matter rain, sleet or snow. It's so archaic, they might as well call them secretaries and maids, because they are also required to clean up behind the executives when they leave dirty dishes in the kitchen or anywhere in the building, and they get negative feedback, when the kitchen isn't clean. Keep in mind, the dishwasher is next to the sink,but they refuse to just put their dishes or coffee mugs in the dishwasher, but whine and complain when the sink is filled with their own dishes. It is an environment where you don't know one day to another whether you'll have a job. The number of layoffs was outrageous during 2017 and 2018. With no care or tact on how they do it, even to other members of the executive team. So if you're looking to be apart of a company where management will never "have your back" and the only people you can depend on are your team members, and where the next massive group of lay offs can come without warning, and you want to be responsible for cleaning up behind grown men and women, and fetching lunch every day, and never being offered to get yourself something when you do, this is the place for you! Be warned, I guarantee you'll be looking for a new job within the 1st 6 months and most people on your team and throughout the company are constantly looking for a new job. This place is not worth the space on your resume!
