      Pros

      Some great mid level co-workers who make a borderline unbearable workplace environment a little more tolerable. Nothing else.

      Cons

      Read, and re-read the headline again. It doesn't matter how much time you've spent with the company, how well you perform at your position, or how short staffed your team might be. If Inovalon wants to cut you they will and not think twice about it. You are just a number to them and are treated as such. Upper management is clueless to how things actually work and act like they have your back. You are expected to work an unhealthy amount of overtime, and rather than implement necessary changes to their processes to prevent this for future projects, you'll be mailed a cheap t-shirt as a thank you! Inovalon only cares about "checking the box" when it comes to their projects. They would rather cut corners and apply band aid fixes instead of doing things right the first time around, which in turn causes more work for everyone down the road. When I first became an Inovalon employee years ago, I read the reviews on this site and recall reading things like "stay away" and "frequent layoffs". I didn't think anything of it, but I wish I had listened.

      Review Specialist II

      Pros

      Potlucks and absolutely nothing else.

      This is the WORST company ever. Hiring Process-I was hired along with 6 others as review specialist working with medical records but during training, the trainer informed us that we would be Call Center Representatives calling random health insurance members to try and get them scheduled to see there PCP. When I brought these concerns to the director, he chalked it up as a “miscommunication.” Environment and Management- These work environment was completely entail with gossiping and lies from coworkers and supervisors. After a month into the position, it was announced in an email that the site would be closing which was crazy because what’s the points of hiring us if the building was going to be closing. The director also tried to say he didn’t know the building was going to close after the announcement which nobody bought. Superivors do to much micromanaging about talking your breaks and being in certain codes in the phones. This company is the worst and I hope they go out of business.

      Pros

      Some really great engineers, analysts, and managers. Reasonable flexibility with working from home.

      Cons

      Leadership by RIF: 4 of them in the past year. The execs like to buy a company, lay off their own. Morale is low, goes lower with each RIF.
