Pros

I'm new here, so here's my (limited) opinion: Everyone is very welcoming. I have been taken to lunch twice, offered to go on walks during break, offered assistance at every moment, and given very good training. Compared to my last 3 jobs, this has been the most thorough training. It's a big morale and confidence booster. The pay seems to be industry average, nothing great, nothing terrible. The incentive/commission seems like it has the potential to put me over $200k but I am not even close to that yet.

Cons

Traveling to Houston for a 6 days in a row will be a little rough -- I have a family and being away from them is not ideal. However, that being said, it's less travel altogether per year than my previous job.

Pros

High base salary, depending on your office and your District Manager, you have lots of autonomy. The access to corporate is very accessible and my co-workers are very nice.

Cons

You will never move beyond your base. It is almost impossible to make a sale as the "solution" is the most expensive in the industry. Our closest rival is ADP, who delivers the "solution" for 50% less. The technology is not cloud based, thus putting us at a great disadvantage in an industry where we claim we are the leaders. The systems and technology is very, very obsolete. If you've been here for less than 4 years, almost all of the time, you must split your sales with senior sales reps, thus leaving you just tidbits in commissions. And sometimes if you give the lead to a Senior Sales rep, they take the lead behind your back. It is very cut throat and secretive. So just expect to make your base salary for the first 5 years. Because of this sales representatives come and go constantly, which is depressing, hence, CHURN & BURN. Insperity makes the rookies do all the footwork in obtaining leads, passing them on to the senior sales reps, and then ignoring the rookies. All of the inbound leads go to the senior sales reps. The only way to make it here is to become "teacher's pet". #OldSchoolboynetwork #nepotismrules
