      Food Unlimited Paid Time Off Cool guests for All Hands Cool co-workers who become best friends

      Cons

      Terrible pay - had to take a huge paycut with no prospects of it going up Roles sold as way more technical/analytical Company only cares about engineers No growth opportunities

      Pros

      Decent pay, work where you want first culture, and some genuine people made for a great work experience.

      Cons

      We’re tricked into wearing rose tinted glasses and have a do more with less attitude while doing it at hyper speed. Sacrificing the need for fundamental and foundational changes that have long term growth for short term wins that look good on paper to exes. They always implemented some new tool to help with process, but always failed to actually implement it across teams even within the same department. You could tell certain folks in leadership positions where there because of a stacked resume, but in reality didn’t have the know how to lead large teams effectively or efficiently.

      Pros

      Instacart is inclusive and warm. In a virtual world these days, it can be weird to start and work anywhere, but Instacart did a good job in bringing me on board Instacart has regular meetings with the executive level team and everyone is encouraged to ask questions. It’s very transparent and open. I love this. Fidji also seems very genuine. I trust the board Instacart does a good job by its users and I feel like the company’s mission is noble and one I agree with. I’m excited to see how we can change the grocery industry

      Some of the employees at Instacart seem to be there only for the pay check or stock options
