Pros

-Work when you want -Work wherever you are -Tips sometimes

Cons

-Lots of gas wasted and KM added to car -Lots of app issues -Lots of picky customers who ask for refunds on many items when they are sold out, which lowers your pay -KM's paid for does not include the KM's it takes to get to the store -Company does not provide trolley or large bags for heavy orders -You may have to bring entire orders (including cases of water/pop) up condos and apartments which can be challenging if you do not have a trolley -You may develop a neck and/or back injuries from looking at your phone in your hand so often -App does not show exact delivery location before accepting order, only after shopping the batch -Due to the cost of gas and wasted time waiting for batches, it may be more profitable to work a regular minimum wage job -Countless unexpected issues will arise at stores when attempting to shop or when delivering and the customer did not provide accurate delivery information -Shopper rating system is extremely flawed and when you go below 4.7 you get limited access to batches, meaning they only offer bad ones which pay less and make you drive more -Shopper often made to look like a liar or thief by constant customers reporting missing/wrong/damaged items when in fact they are lying and scamming to get free items -I could honestly go on, but you get the point -You will feel taken advantage of after you do this job for a month full-time

Pros

Flexibility, freedom and same day cash out

Cons

- this company is so sleazy and disgusting with their pay it should be a crime. They steal tips from the customer and allocate it to your pay for the batch and then throw you $ 1 or 2 or $ 3 as the tip lol from the same customer ....so in reality they aren't paying you the customers are with their tips. Whereas you should be making $180 to $250 a day for driving 12 hours all over the city shopping, with instacart expect to make $120 MAX if ur lucky ...tips Incljded! By the end of each day u have used a half a tank of gas, so in reality in ur driving for 12 hours to make $50 or $60.

Pros

You pick your own batches (deliveries). Work your own schedule. Can get instant payment for small fee.

Cons

Not worth the time for little pay. If it was delivery only it may be worth it. But if stores you are shopping in stores that are not organized your there for a long time picking order. I spent two hours in walmart picking a 78 item order for a customer who did not reply quickly to replace missing items only to get $13.00. Also need to be in a big city and do multiple orders in one store to make it worth the pay I might see 5 to 10 batches a week in my area. Pay is way to low for time spent shopping.
