Pros

I've waited a long time to write this review, because I wanted to experience more places outside of Instrument after being in the industry for over 10 years. I can say that after leaving for a while and coming back, there is no better place I have worked yet. Between the projects, people, atmosphere, inclusion, work/life balance and management, they have something special here.

Cons

They are growing fast, and with that comes pains as you scale. Their client love them, and continue to give them a lot of work in addition to new clients lining up to work with Instrument. They are changing things constantly to make way for this growth, and also bringing on a lot of new people. Whether full time or freelance, you get thrown into things quickly and are required to ramp up fast to be a contributing member. The expectation of their people is high.

We appreciate your notes of both pros and cons in your experience working with us. We hope that our internal transparency on our representation goals, why they are important and what our goals are, is helpful as you track our progress over the next few years in this area. We also hope that our efforts with the internal Career Progression Framework start to show more consistency and clarity in the path to promotion, so you can feel confident that each leader is being held to consistent expectations before advocating for a team member's promotion.
