Pros

The company was once a genuinely good place to work. There are still smart, mission-driven people here who genuinely care about improving the lives of people with diabetes. The company once fostered a culture of trust, flexibility, and empathy, which made it a great place to work and aligned with its purpose.

Cons

Since the new CEO joined, the company has taken a sharp turn toward a “work hard, play hard” mentality that feels completely out of step with its mission. There’s been a clear erosion of flexibility, autonomy, and trust. The tone from leadership is rigid and performative, and it's becoming obvious that we’re heading toward a forced return to office, even if it hasn’t been formally announced yet. What makes this even more frustrating is that the company claims to be focused on reducing the burden for people living with diabetes, yet is actively adding to that burden, especially for the many employees who themselves have diabetes or autoimmune conditions. It's tone-deaf at best, hypocritical at worst. Glint survey after Glint survey highlights poor work-life balance as a consistent issue, yet leadership seems to be ignoring that feedback entirely. Pushing toward RTO under the guise of collaboration, while people are already overwhelmed, sends a clear message: employee well-being isn’t actually the priority. Culture is rapidly shifting in a negative direction. Morale is low, and most employees I talk to are frustrated, anxious, and feeling disconnected from leadership.

Pros

Mission-Driven Work: Employees feel proud to contribute to a company that improves the lives of people with diabetes through innovative technology like the Omnipod® system. Supportive Colleagues: Many reviews highlight a collaborative and passionate team environment where coworkers are willing to help and share knowledge. Good Work-Life Balance: Several roles, especially in corporate and tech functions, offer flexibility, remote work options, and reasonable expectations. Strong Benefits Package: Competitive health benefits, annual bonuses, and wellness programs are frequently mentioned. Opportunities to Learn: Employees appreciate the chance to work on meaningful projects and gain exposure to cutting-edge medical device development. Positive Culture in Some Departments: Teams focused on R&D, product development, and customer care often report a fun, energized, and patient-focused atmosphere. Recognition and Growth (in some roles): Hardworking employees in certain departments report being recognized and promoted based on performance.

Cons

Frequent Organizational Changes Ongoing restructuring and shifting priorities can create confusion and instability, particularly for new hires or those in support roles. Pay Disparities and Budget Constraints Some employees feel compensation is not competitive, especially outside the U.S. or in lower-tier roles, and tight budgets can limit resources or recognition. Cultural Gaps Between Teams There are noted differences in culture and morale between corporate and manufacturing teams, with some employees describing a disconnect in values or support.
