      Low stress environment for the most part

      Pros

      Small case load compared to private firms, generally friendly people (with a few exceptions), decent salary, good benefits and pension.

      Cons

      The communication between the different departments is frustrating and a streamlined document management system would be good.

      Pros

      You work in a team setting, but it's mostly independent, so you can manage your own platforms in which the tasks get assigned. The managers are amazing, they are very personable and friendly - very willing to help you and they go above and beyond for you.

      Cons

      Work flow can be unpredictable, one day it's slow and the next can be overwhelming. There is tension between members in the team. Your work depends on the adjusters work ethics, when they send tasks to you, it may be missing information so you have to be diligent in communicating with them to find out what exactly they need done. Although your work is mostly independent, the tasks are linked and someone's lack in detail can affect you. Adjusters can be rude towards you when you message them. Adjusters may ignore you.

      Pros

      Good benefits. Offer possibilities to created your workday around your personal needs. Nice office. You are supported if you want to change to a different position within intact.

      Cons

      Workload is too big for the quality requested. You can't promise a costumer experience 2nd to none and not giving the time and just providing slow (old) tools to deliver that promise. In addition too many things need to be decided by your manager. In my opinion salary could be higher (general problem in Vancouver)
