Pros

Snacks and location Friday lunches(for non vegetarians mostly) during winter, spring and fall Growing business Their sudden realization of diversity and inclusion

Cons

- Talk much, do less - Worst health benefits I’ve ever seen - Can either end up in teams doing next to nothing and getting credit or team doing the most and complex work getting scrutinized all time. No in between. So either you’ll be lucky or unlucky. - Third World bureaucracy - If you’re technical person, way too many better options - If you’re looking to make a difference in the world then this place is not for you

Pros

-Smart and fun people to work with -Flexible with wfh -Free lunch and many snacks -Great office facilities and management -Unlimited PTO (although no one really takes as much time off as they probably should)

Cons

I preface this by saying that not all teams are the same and your experience at IAS is contingent upon your manager and teammates. That being said, teams are incredibly siloed with little to no effort put into systematizing better communication streams. For example, changes are made on Salesforce without teams being notified which throws the entire system off. This is a serious waste of time because instead of being able to focus on improving processes, we're instead focusing on putting out fires every day...not to mention that this hurts client relationships. Employees aren't shown appreciation and are made to feel like they are unable to do their job when instead it is up to managers to provide support. Mistakes are magnified with absolutely no help offered. People with no experience in how to manage people are promoted to managerial positions and often times lack any sense of empathy and can be downright cruel and cold. How do you expect people to feel comfortable and supported when asking for help when 1. you're contributing to a hostile work environment and 2. there are no pathways to resources? Work life balance is garbage. IAS values a culture of workaholism and burnout and, instead of providing more support and resources, expects its already overworked employees to basically figure it out on their own. Your workers are drowning. Listen to them. p.s. There's some weird biases towards POC, specifically WOC.

Running out of runway

Pros

- Unlimited vacation - Market share - Friday lunches - 401k - Opportunity is ours to lose.

Cons

- Executives are not aligned at all. - No company vision since being acquired. - Private Equity "advisors" are running the show. - Comp plans not communicated until well into the 1st quarter of the year (still waiting) - Zero marketing support for sales people. - Commission plans change constantly. No plan for AE's to actually achieve quotas. - Incoherent product marketing. - Your manager (sales) is definitely interviewing elsewhere. - Accounts on your list get moved all the time due to turnover.
