Terrible over-rated work environment

No where to go but up. It's good to know that it doesn't get worse than this.

Cons

Worked for 4 CTO's, each worse than the one before. Mostly hiring people they know, making an uncomfortable work environment. Most employees are just sticking around to cash out on stock options. Employees and engineering are very poorly versed in the business. Members of the engineering team who have been here a long time, think they own the company. Have this sense of entitlement, many people have quit because of them, and they scheme to get people fired.

They make employee satisfaction a priority. Most teams are flexible with the amount of time you spend in the office vs. wfh. A lot of new products, offices, and teams are being created which means a lot of room for growth. Benefits package is generous with the amount of time off you receive. CEO is incredible and honest about where they are as a company.

Cons

The payscale isn’t streamlined and is often below what you might get if you take your skills another company. Don’t be afraid to negotiate up if you’re being given an offer.
