Handling pandemic well

Pros

Glad that they have been very accommodating with schedules and offering remote work during the pandemic. Pay is good. Most people are nice to work with.

Cons

It's consulting so workload can be unpredictable, varying wildly between being overloaded and looking for work to fill the time. Career opportunities really depend on which department you work in.

Salary doesn't keep pace with inflation nor does regular support of advancement. Company is political like most others out there.

Pros

This is one of the best places I've ever worked. Leadership has demonstrated during the pandemic how much they truly care about their employees. There is great flexibility with your schedule, advancement opportunities, fair compensation including bonus potential and interesting projects.

Cons

The workloads are extremely high and it is hard to take time off right now but management is trying to hire people so hopefully it will improve soon.
