Pros

Base salary Benefits Technology Start-up atmosphere You are respected and treated well as a person.

Cons

Expectations were never made clear. There’s a revenue “goal” that goes increases every week. However, you have no say in the matter and the numbers are the same for every hire. My immediate supervisor told me to focus on contracted freight - most of which is established at the end of Q3. I did this, avoiding spot freight and it’s many issues. Due to my low numbers, I was put on a performance improvement plan. This plan consisted of sending call recordings to my manager for coaching and adding two goals to complete in a month. I received the same advice at the completion of every week, “Great calls, you need a closing attitude.” When asked for any type of example, I never received a response. Throughout my tenure, I was told that closing, “Was all luck. You’ve got to call the right person at the right time, usually after someone else screws up.” Despite keeping my supervisors in the loop on my current opportunities and placing 100 calls per day, I was let go because I did not get lucky (at least that’s how it seems). My numbers were low due to what I perceived to be the slow nature of developing relationships and timeline for bids. I was told that it will take time to develop relationships and your book of business. When initially interviewed, I was told 6-10 months was average time to go on commission. I was let go in six months, before my upcoming bids were completed. The icing on the cake being that I was let go two days before the official review date of my plan.

At Integrity Express Logistics all members of our sales team are made aware of performance expectations and are provided with the coaching and tools needed to become successful. Our sales roles are both challenging and fruitful – but most certainly are not for everyone. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Family feel in the office. I'm seeing some haters on here and I just want to say to job seekers, don't listen to that noise. Yes, the job can be hard and no it's not for everyone, but for those who have strong work ethic, it can be life changing. I know who some of these negative reviews are coming from and they're just mad they don't still work here. The company is growing and the commission structure is uncapped. The company always has fun events and sales competitions too. I'm building my own team which I also love.

Cons

It takes alot of effort to build your book of business up to the point where you are consistently making six figures. Don't take this job if you're looking for just a 9-5.

Pros

Comfortable work environment, family oriented company that promotes from within. Only job i have ever had, i wake up and enjoy coming to work. Below is an email i received from one of our employees and it does a great job describing what it is truly like to work here.... "I just want to thank you all for how well you treat your employees. I’ve never experienced anything like it. It feels good to come to work and makes you work harder not only for my family but for you all too. From the training, to the management support, the Summer Games, Popcorn Friday, July 4th party in the parking lot, Halloween, and a team event here and there. That’s just what I experienced so far. Simply put. Thank you. I’m always telling my family about how well you treat us and I thought you should know how we feel too. It is appreciated by all of us." When i started here i was 25, living in my parents basement and had little sales experience. I worked hard with the support of IEL and made it to commission and started making good money and it literally changed my life. I was promoted a little over a year ago to sales manager, after 7 years on hard work on the sales floor. I dont know where i would be without this company. It is pretty apparent that some of the negative reviews and from past or disgruntled employees and everybody's road is different here sure, but everybody needs to understand, this is a sales job and is a lot of hard work your first year or 2, but the money you can make combined with the uncomparable atmosphere is more than worth it. You get out of this job what you put into it. Which is rewarding. Sure this career path isn't for everyone, but the people who work hard, always end up finding success, and love coming to work and continue to do so, years after landing their first residual client.

Cons

Occasional after hours/weekend calls or work, but worth it when making good money and this is how you keep your business moving, good customer service.
