Pros

You will learn a great deal about handling crisis, working independently, TC basic values that will help you as well. Benefits package is pretty good. Staff is like family. Clients gain a new sense of self if they can get past the politics.

Cons

The pay isn't great. You're overworked to the point your doing other ppls jobs. They don't compensate for overtime. Lots of gossip that you could possibly resulting in you losing your job. No real advancement. They diminish in values every new funding source that comes. The clients become robotic to the system not necessarily the treatment.
