It was my first IT job and where I received my clearance.

Cons

Human Resources laughed when I advocated for a raise after 1 year and gaining a degree.

Pros

The pay was good, and the hours worked well for me. The job tasks were consistent enough for me to get into a good flow, but varied enough to prevent boredom. I genuinely liked the actual job tasks.

Cons

There were a lot of added odd complexities working for IntellecTechs that I wouldn't have expected. The work was relatively pleasant, but my direct supervisor was known to be difficult and frustrating, and the company never took action on the matter even after several complaints. There were even a number of customers that had issues with him. I'm disappointed at how things worked out, and he's probably retired by now anyway. I should also mention that once you get into a specific job position, you'll probably be at that position for the rest of your career. My direct supervisor had been working in that same office for over 30 years.

Pros

they were the only ones desperate enough to hire me, and they offered me a critical opportunity to actually gain experience in my field, jump-starting my career

Cons

they'll rip your eyes out on the burn rate. they are incredibly sloppy. they dont really track pto. needed onboarding is missing until you need it. this is a very much a "get your start here and get the hell out of here asap" company
