Pros

The mission of the organization is on point. Extremely diverse environment. Several female leaders.

Cons

You don't get a raise or a full-time position unless you have a powerful connection. Clientelism. Extremely bureaucratic workflow which fragments end-goals.

Pros

IADB has great amenities for employees, gyms, a great cafeteria, a bunch of clubs and tons of events. Also, the Bank has a great mission and does great work in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Cons

It is extremely bureaucratic, and it's easy to get disconnected to the actual work in the region. Also, consultants/contractors are treated poorly, and with a lack of respect. As a staff member, you have great benefits, vs as a consultant you have none.
