Pros

Management adhere's to their "open door" policy and always willing to listen to suggestions from all employees. Every department is willing to help each other at a moments notice. Everyone is genuinely nice here! It's nice to come to work everyday knowing the environment is happy and helpful. Another big pro for nora by Interface is we are finally seeing the last of the "negative nancies" who try to defame management here. I never knew that you were apparently considered a "favorite" when you simply try hard and come to work everyday! The previous negative reviews came from employees who never worked a full week (always had excuses) and that would put additional strain on the department, or employees who were rude and always found something to complain about. They were honestly exhausting to listen to here AND on Glassdoor. Good riddance to them! We are so excited for the future of the CSS department and the overall company!

Cons

Due to the acquisition our benefit offerings are not nearly as robust as they were before. That's really the only bummer.

Pros

Great people/culture, everyone here would give you the shirt off their back. Great benefits (health, dental, vision, 401k matching, vacation, and PTO) if you’re full time. They’re also very fair when it comes to reimbursements. They have a great mission and core beliefs that anyone could get behind. Fast paced, but extremely casual work environment. You can work from home occasionally. They usually promote from within. Not micromanaged. Though you’re expected to work independently, everyone here is a great team player when you have to work with other departments. Asking questions is encouraged. They do their best to make sure that you have everything you need to succeed. If you put in the effort to inspire and help others you’ll receive tenfold in return.

Cons

This isn’t even really a complaint, but more something that’s out of the norm and takes getting used too. Sometimes it’s too casual. Everyone here sees each other as colleagues, which makes it hard to understand the corporate hierarchy (titles are barely recognized). This can make it more difficult to understand who reports to who and how to move up.
