A rewarding and fun place to work

Pros

Interlace Health is a great place to work, filled with smart, passionate people and a leadership team that genuinely cares about employee success and well-being. Leadership is transparent, listens to employees, and invests in meaningful initiatives that support personal and professional growth. The company prioritizes work-life balance, offers generous benefits, and fosters a culture of open communication. Being a smaller company, employees can see the direct impact of their work, which is both empowering and rewarding. While embracing remote work, the company values face-to-face connections and invests in a productive in-person meeting to build stronger bonds and foster collaboration - imperative to a remote workforce. Interlace Health also gives back to the community with volunteer PTO and charitable initiatives, making it easy to feel part of something bigger. With many clients having been with Interlace for decades, it’s clear the company’s technology and expert team provide exceptional value to healthcare systems. It’s exciting to be part of a team that’s continuously evolving to meet the growing needs of the healthcare industry.

Cons

Like many health tech companies, Interlace Health has undergone transformations to stay aligned with the rapidly evolving healthcare industry. While change comes with growing pains and can inevitably be challenging for many; it also opens new opportunities for employees to contribute, grow, and thrive as the organization continues to innovate and advance.

Pros

The employees are great. Everyone works well together. Most are remote positions.

Cons

No raises. Few chances for meaningful promotions. They will take forever to interview/hire someone and tell you it's because they are seeking the very best. Then, when the antiquated annual reviews are done, lower management are not allowed to give anyone over a rating of 3 (on a 1-5 scale). You will go 3 and 4 years with no raise in salary. They will want to "promote" you to a new job title, but no money. They assume you will want to take on more duties/supervise people "for the experience." They seem shocked when told "No." If their initial offer fits in with your 5-year plan, take the position. If not, you should probably pass.

Interlace Health Response

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Interlace Health has been a trusted partner in healthcare for over 30 years, with many clients who have relied on us for decades. As a stable company in a rapidly changing industry, we are committed to adapting and growing alongside healthcare—not against it. Please know that decisions are never made lightly and are always guided by the goal of ensuring long-term success for our employees and our clients. We recognize your concerns about raises and promotions and agree that these are areas for improvement. Your feedback on the performance review system is also valuable. While we aim to avoid a situation where everyone consistently receives the highest ratings, we understand the importance of ensuring the process feels fair and constructive. Over the past year, we’ve made changes to shift the focus from numeric ratings to meaningful conversations about job satisfaction, career development, and alignment with company goals. We’ll continue refining this process to make it more engaging and motivating for all employees. Regarding our hiring process, you’re right that it can sometimes take longer than expected. We strive to hire top talent and ensure that roles are the right fit for both the individual and the company. This does not always happen overnight. While this intentionality is important, we recognize the need for greater efficiency and are working to streamline the hiring process for employees and applicants. Thank you again for your candid feedback, and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
