Pros

- benefits are very good. they're better than most places. For example, they pay 100% dental for family. - I worked on the engineering team. This team's culture and morale is very high. The director has a lot to do with it. - full wfh, no hybrid. -work with modern techs such as azure. -technically diverse team which means you can learn from them. -small company, so you're not a number but have more say in what goes on

Cons

-product owner is indecisive so the engineering team throws away about 25%-33% of work. this went on for 2 years since I left. That's a lot of waste! As a result of indecisiveness, there were no customers for this 2 year project at the time I left which really adversely affects revenue because the product is still not considered done,, which in turn affects compensation increases, or lack thereof. -since it's a small company, not a lot of opportunities for growth.

Appreciate the feedback, we pride ourselves on building a collaborative environment that encourages career and personal growth. We are continually working to improve the way we work across the company as we design and engineer our existing and new products. Specific to the feedback around shifting requirements, we have invested a lot of time and energy in 2022 to enhance the process we use in gathering and validating product requirements. Our product process now has increased formal steps to continually gather input from clients, client facing staff, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. We feel this has improved our ability to have confidence in our initial requirements while also preserving our ability to react in an agile manner as user or market inputs require.
