Pros

Growing enterprise, dominates the market, upward opportunities if you become well connected, lots of resources.

Cons

Rampant nepotism, aloof and self-serving executives, bloated corporate structure, it's always about the finances, cutthroat competition between many functions, arrogance without competence with many senior leaders, many programs of the month distract from patient safety, reliance on consultants over leadership competence, lip service to values but only superficial demonstration

Pros

Company values are amazing- focused on patient care, improving outcomes and the patient experience. Most everyone is in the industry and the company because they care about making a difference in the lives of others. People are generally respectful and helpful. The atmosphere is a great one to work in. Values such as continual learning, respect and accountability are important and seen.

Cons

Since Intermountain is a non-profit company, everyone is continually asked to do more, with less. This can be demanding and tiring and is not for the faint of heart!

Pros

Good Benefits such as PTO about 4.6 if full time per paycheck. They cover up to 70% of tuition if you are working at least 48 hours per paycheck. They have a lot of clinics all over Utah and if you are an employee you can transfer to a different site if there is an opening.

Cons

When you work in the Hospital and not one of the clinics they need staff there on all Holidays, such as Christmas Thanksgiving, so working on holidays.
