Pros

SelectHealth has excellent benefits including pension, 401k, and tuition reimbursement as well has health, dental, and life insurance and paid time off. There is even an on-site fitness center with access to a personal trainer.

Cons

Health insurance companies are not very popular at the moment, although SelectHealth is one of the top-rated. Some friends and family give me a hard time about "working for the enemy".

Pros

very value and mission driven, true to its non-profit origins, compassionate entity, stable and fairly large organization, strong clinical leadership and nationally renowned

Cons

very traditional hierarchy, not much of breakthrough thinking in management and promotions or succession planning. More than potential and capabilities, time spent in a given role is more important for growth. compensation is median for the role.....benefits not so great
