Pros

- Hands down, the people. You will not find more driven, fun, and committed individuals. It's pretty cool to come to work where everyone is young too! - The culture. It's a little different than what text books define as a "corporate" company, but it sure does make your job a lot more fun! - Opportunities after opportunities after opportunities! In the year and a half that I have worked here, I've had three different roles (by choice). IDR truly supports you and your career goals. If your goals align with the company's values and mission, there's no way you won't reach and exceed your potential. - Nothing is concrete. This can be good and bad, but the great thing about this is you can always implement new ideas and strategies. IDR is always open to innovation ,and people who take initiative. - Health & Wellness and Leadership Programs. If you value getting physically fit, they support you. If you want to develop your career skills and dig a little deeper, they support you. To sum it all up, IDR is an young, organic company who stands by their mission - to be the best. The people and the culture make you feel like you belong to a family. There's always room to innovate and be yourself.

Cons

- Sometimes the hours can be demanding, but this has improved in the last few months. - There can be a lot of changes, which can make you overwhelmed but you just have to understand they are always searching for ways to make things better. - It's a sales organization so the Operations don't always get the recognition they deserve. But hey, we have to stroke the sales team's ego, right?

Pros

The "training" and mentorship you will get from the tenured IDR employees is great. From day one you are put on the front lines and getting the experience you need to start your career. It's not easy but they allow you to get ramped up and try to get you ramped up as soon as possible. Training was in quotes because there has been no structured training program until recently but with the changes they have made, I believe it will be very beneficial for the new guys. Base pay is pretty solid for newbies and the commission is great--you just gotta land the placements. The President and senior level managers have your best interest at heart and they carry the core values of the company with them and instill them into their workers. It is tough work, so if you arent willing to put in the time to become great in this business; this is not for you.

Cons

You're going to work long hours and at times to no avail. Being such a small company with smaller offices, you tend to be not only competing against the other staffing companies in your city but more so you are competing against your fellow recruiters; it's all up for grabs in smaller offices leaving some to get the short end of the stick on certain deals.
