Pros

Great co-workers and clients, meaningful work helping international refugees resettle and adapt in the U.S. Good for volunteer opportunities.

Cons

Low pay, staff poorly treated and under appreciated, over-sized, management-heavy bureaucratic organization with outdated, entrenched hierarchy, high turnover among workers and middle management, negligent towards California state labor laws regarding vacation accrual and overtime pay.. Money stays at the top and does not trickle down--funds not available for essential office supplies.
