Pros

* The actually paid overtime to non-supervisor engineers. I'm not sure if this is still in place. * There were decent benefits while I worked there, including generous tuition reimbursement. * Plenty of on sight activities such as Health, Education and Book fairs as well as sports. * Cheap underutilized gym on campus

Cons

The company turns a blind eye towards some of the most sadistic managers I have ever encountered. I had one manager who would regularly call me up late at night drunk and belligerent to scream at me about issues that had been solved months earlier. This same man also thought it would be a funny practical joke to call me back from a family vacation in order to deal with a crisis that didn't exist. The office environment itself consisted of constant screaming of obscenities, racial slurs and throwing of objects at people. Those who complained to HR were often never seen from again. Having to talk to customers and suppliers over the phone was embarrassing. The worst part was the constant threat that you would be the next person to be chewed out, often over something you were not even responsible for. I know this all sounds too extreme to be true. I wouldn't have believed any of this if I hadn't witnessed it with my own eyes. I am surprised there haven't been any major lawsuits, at least that I know of.

Pros

Work schedule flexibility. The vehicle variants offer many design and engineering challenges.

Cons

Lack of direction, no knowledge of systems engineering process or any other processes to keep the organization operational. Poor communication among so called team members. Very cliquish, individuals with very loud unprofessional behaviors get noticed the most and fit in very well with management. Upper management are not engaged at all with the bread and butter workers of the company. No opportunities for growth or enhancement in skill set either. Don't come here if you're truly looking to gain insight into the world of Defense or to gain valuable work experience.

Pros

Compensation is decent and you have a lot of autonomy

Cons

There is a comradery among employees there but only if you are in one of the cliques. If you want to just come to work and have a professional relationship at work only, it is possible but that will be challenging. There are a lot of opportunities the represent the company but you will only be selected for them if management likes you. You will have fewer experience with this if you work at world headquarters.
