      IT Stay Away: Good company, but what was a best place to work in IT is going down hill fast!

      solid company with good culture and excellent history great people to work with good products and solid business model company values are great

      Cons

      New IT leadership does not subscribe to corporate values and does not respect people no opportunities for advancement from within for it IT leadership sees outside company as solution for everything IT leadership is more interested in building their fifedoms than achieving company goals IT management does not like ideas they do not originate

      Pros

      R&D has a good culture of supplying you with resources to learn, grow, and succeed. Engineers here are paid well overall from what I can gather.

      Cons

      The large size of the company tends to result in bureaucracy which can significantly slow down development and project timelines while increasing spending unnecessarily. Deadlines here are consistently pushed back and there is little accountability at times.

      Nice headquarters building, but a bit dated of a set-up.

      Cons

      This company is absolute garbage, from top to bottom. Nobody knows what they are doing around here and they have mediocre talent compared to other companies. Especially now with the takeover from Volkswagen, things are a mess. If you are a professional with any sort of pride in your career and growth, absolutely don't apply here and go to a reputable company where you can grow your career. You won't learn anything of value here. Also, the company lacks diversity as well, mostly older white males are running the show. Very old school culture that other companies have moved away from.
