Upper-level management appears to continue to be disconnected to the mid-level and lower professionals. It appears mid-level HR managers were promoted to their highest level of incompetency based solely upon preferential treatment. HR mid-level managers were charged with overseeing areas of which they have no knowledge or experience; however, asserting they "knew" what they were talking about. If you are not a part of the HR *pack*, then you are out of luck. IPD HR is given way too much latitude over HR issues they have no experience or knowledge - not in the best interest of the business or its employees. Some HR managers are *harrassing* and allow a high school attitude amongst lower ranking employees. Employees who are serious about their career have to either accept the high school mentality or leave.
