      Some groups are OK, other groups work a ton of hours with little recognition

      Competitive salary (If you were working only 40-45 hours a week) Culture of most groups in the company Fitness center

      Lack of recognition for hard workers throughout the company (both extrinsic and intrinsic) Lack of work life balance in the group I work in Senior management words do not align with actions Seriously concerned with the sustainability of the company with current leadership Politics, everywhere. HR department does little to nothing

      Pros

      If you prefer a position in which you constantly face new challenges and opportunities, then Navistar is the place for you!!! Salary is competitive, benefits are average. Management tries to at least listen to what employees have to say, although little if any resulting action is taken.

      Cons

      The business runs very lean. There is a tremendous amout of work to be accomplished and it is difficult to manage or balance the load within the time alotted. (9 to 10 hours per work day) Navistar is known for it's meetings, and they do tend to interrupt a work day on a regular basis. Employees have nicknamed the company Navimeeting. It seems as though there are meetings to schedule meetings, during which nothing gets accomplished.
