- Manager micromanaged and is severely depressed. - Work environment became worse as a result of above point. - Manager would be late or cancel 1-1's because of other meetings. - Manager never specified deadlines early on and began to do it after writing me a warning letter on my performance. - Manager would compare the time he gives me to the average time he gives an employee to do X work. - Manager would severely criticize and nitpick my work on email and during our 1-1's. - Manager drinks a liter of soda daily and jokes about his own health in front of the whole team. So much for "mental health comes first". - Manager feels in so much control that his/her own boss listens to them so frequently due to being at the company for many years. - Manager randomly pulling HR into our 1-1 after he heavily criticizes my second independent project. - HR's incompetence to actually ask me why is my work underperforming and trying to understand me, and instead says "See your manager wants you to succeed!"
