Pros

You do something very meaningful, you genunely help people and at teh same time learn skills very valuablel both at work and in private life. Office culture is great, the company supports good emplyees rewarding them fairly.

Cons

The stress and pressure may be overwhelming as you deal with literally life and deathe situations. Therefore you have to have a character forthsi job and be able to approach things with empathy but with an internal distance as well. The hours are long and the perfectionism is required in every aspect of the job. No mistakes are tolerated.

Pros

Very good people, interesting, educated, welcoming and flexible. Immediate internatinoal exposure to different cultures in the informal office atmosphere and during the work process. Very good start for a career at the initial stage to gain experience and understand the living process of a global company.

Cons

Limited opportunity for career growth and self-development when you passed the initial stage and got familiar with how everything works. The management's policy not always clear. Sometimes too much of 'motivate people' approach.

Pros

A company that is passionate about what they do for clients, always looking to offer the best service and stay ahead of our competition. Offering excellent support for employees wanting career progression, International SOS also provides plenty of opportunities to get to know colleagues from different departments like inductions and monthly socials. I do have not had a bad experience during my time at International SOS, the work-life balance around the office seems to vary, however it seems most people leave at 5.30pm and others not long after. So far in my time here I have been on several training courses to further my experience in my role. I find managers are not opposed to you finding additional training you wish to do and support this 100%.

Cons

Benefits could be more competitive.
