Pros

The purpose of this company is amazing and even though world events can disrupt the day, you know you are working for a good cause - to help others.

Cons

The company seems to think they can maintain a status of charging clients more than competitors while investing pennies into the business. This can only last so long and leads to a trickle down effect: Overworked and micromanaged employees who are exhausted playing politics game, lack of creativity and collaboration, and poor delivery of products/services. Because of limited investment and strategic vision, we waste so much time, money, and resources trying make tactical decisions that do not add significant value to our deliverables. There are some great leaders who join with fantastic ideas on how to improve and try to garner change but soon are demoralized by overmanagement of funds which limits any forward thinking progress.

Pros

I got to build a team that delivered a great product. I revamped the support and deployment models for multiple web-based , mobile and digital products. I was given the opportunity to totally reorganize and grow a team of deployment, support and analytic professionals. I delivered significant improvements in client satisfaction and revenue growth.

Cons

I was passionate about the customer which was not just in my job description but part of my DNA. I was let go without cause - I have since found better roles which have enabled me to create significant value for my new clients and companies. It is a sad day when companies can't recognize the contribution of their people!

Pros

- The services the company offers to clients are wonderful.

Cons

- Company seems to react first, and think later. - There is no work life balance. There is lots of TALK about a belief in work life balance, valuing employees etc., but in actuality if you are salaried they will squeeze as much out of they as you can. - Treatment of employees in departments that generate revenue is dramatically different from employees in necessary back-office positions. If you're in the office it's as clear as looking at the portions of work space that are newly renovated, and the portions that have rips in the carpet and holes in the walls. - Messaging from management is inconsistent.
