Challenging, but not growth-minded

Pros

-It is a challenging environment from which you can learn a lot about yourself -It has a very international office with very smart people from all over the world

Cons

-Absolutely no career path management or company effort to develop its employees -Very little employee loyalty -New member orientation/training is an absolute joke -It is extremely disorganized globally -HR and IT are vastly underdeveloped due to little emphasis from its leadership, holding the entire company down -Expectation to work incredibly long hours with little added benefit or pay

Pros

Decent pay, really great IT staff who operate very well despite the chaotic environment.

Cons

High turnover rate due to long hours, extreme stress due to unrealistic expectations, and not enough staff. Antiquated networks and servers worldwide with little or no attempt to upgrade. More time and energy is spent on monitoring and fixing the same issues on equipment literally every day...a complete waste of valuable resources. Documentation lacking since many are not there long enough to keep it updated. Data Center is a security and standards nightmare. Strategy and high level decision making based out of Singapore...which has no idea about business requirements and IT services in the states. Sr. IT management finger pointing about roles and responsibilities instead of addressing high priority issues head on. One of the worst IT managed companies I ever worked for.

Pros

It was close to home and some good people working there

Cons

Culture changed for the worst and the CFO in Singapore (Nigel Pool) is one of the worst leaders I have ever experienced in my career. He continues to make countless bad decisions and costing the company a lot of money and a lot of frustration and headache for the other teams. Unfortunately he will never be fired, although he should be, immediately. As for his other management friends he scattered across the globe, it would not hurt to remove them as well.
