Pros

-Lots of Ot available, typically 50-60hrs/ week -Opportunity for a lot of responsibility as an apprentice -Can expect to make $70-85k as a first year apprentice with per diem, bonus, and salary -Company provides every imaginable tool -Safety is top priority, will never be put in an unsafe situation -Time off is relatively easy to get for holiday -Amount of pro given is fair

Cons

-Per diem is low -Not a lot of talented electricians to learn from -The few talented individuals will be overwhelmed with alot of responsibilities -Not many journeyman on most jobs, almost always out of ratio -Will spend alot of time on rework especially on jobs with temps -Don’t expect breaks, they push labor pretty hard. Lunch is about the only break you get on a ten hour day -Journeyman pay is low -401k match is very low

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We genuinely appreciate your recognition of some aspects we’re proud of, such as our safety culture and the opportunities we give our apprentices. It’s unfortunate to see how we missed the mark during your experience. We want our team members to know they are the foundation of our success. We’ve passed along this feedback to our Workforce Development team.

Pros

Steady work and local management was great.

Cons

Lots of corporate overhead made bids for new work uncompetitive. Silly corporate mentality and initiatives - lots of corporate acronyms and they took away knives in the field for safety.
