Pros

This company has a great culture and works hard to provide training for its new employees. They are working hard to keep up with the changes in technology and improve their diversity.

Cons

It can be difficult if you don't have experience in the field or knowledge of the software they use.

Pros

The company has an amazing on-boarding process. I was put through a great deal of training prior to starting in my position. This helped me to slide right in and do my job well (very little learning curve time).

Cons

Not a lot of opportunities for those not in the trade.

Homogeneous Workforce with poor work/life balance

Pros

Interstates truly does have employees who care a lot about each other and the success of the business.

Cons

The expectation at Interstates is to work 50+ hours a week for a salary that is not competitive with the industry. A quick walk through of the office and it will become clear that almost everyone there is a middle class white man with little to no exceptions. Although this is a public company upper management (and coworkers) push their religious beliefs on every employee. This has led to many uncomfortable meetings and events.
