Pros

Great company with a family-like culture. Interstates truly fulfills their company values. I was able to experience a company that values it employees.

Cons

Location. Interstates offices are primarily in the Midwest. Which is not necessarily a con.

Pros

Flexibility around schedule and personal life. Great opportunities for people with management, sales, and financial skills.

Cons

Difficult to advance in the company for someone who is mostly technical and not interested sales or management. 45+ hour work weeks are expected at a minimum. In Sioux Falls and Sioux Center, the workforce is made of mostly people with a similar cultural background.

Headquartered in Northwest IA so not a ton of diversity; company is trying to improve it but it will likely happen slowly
