Pros

Really the only thing even remotely nice about this place is some of the other employees are pretty cool.

Cons

Added other jobs and expected 1 person to keep the whole nasty place clean. Offices, conference room, bathrooms, trash, lunchroom, then added windows, cigarette butts, parking lot, weeding,...this company wants team work yet refused to hire on to company cause of a past worker that had nothing to do with me or the job I was hired for. I went and above and beyond and glad I'm not on this team...

Pros

There are hundreds of people who have expertise in many fields and are always willing to help a fellow coworker when needed even if they have never met you before.

Cons

Expected to cover 3 or 4 peoples worth of work and to be paid for 70% of the going rate for one of those jobs. Depending on location you will either have managers who are competent and can easily support you or you will be left to your own devices and expected to perform despite not knowing what direction to go towards. Expect to stay late, come in early and work on weekends at the drop of a hat. Expect to be talked down to when you take time off due to being sick or for vacation. Expect to be misinformed or not informed at all about company policies.

Pros

Decent pay, easy enough work- primarily drives and PLCs.

Cons

You will be working 6 days a week. You will do electrical and mechanical work. You will not take time off in your first 720 hours-or you will be fired. The reason for taking time off is inconsequential. 1970s management style, reprisals, and middle management incapable of defending their decisions to upper management, and instead, passing their consequences to employees. Supervisors will "beat their chest" as another electrician put it, which translated to, threatening to fire me for taking one day off, that I asked for in advance for an appointment and both supervisors agreed would be fine. After that, reprisals were hardly subtle. Scheduling is a mess, planned maintenance is effectively nonexistent, and down time between repairs will mostly be spent wandering around the plant, because the maintenance shops are for work and breaks only. There are 3 breaks, which maintenance follows as closely as production, 8a-4p shift - 10 minutes at 10am, 15 minutes at noon for lunch, and 10 minutes at 2pm.
