Pros

Good work-life balance. Manager genuinely cares about well-being. Any excessive overtime for projects is attempted to be offset with lighter subsequent work weeks when possible. Competitive pay and a pay for performance culture (compared to a more tenure based approach at other companies). Lots of subsidies outside of base pay, bonus, and stock - cheap food onsite/free coffee bar, internet and phone reimbursement amount, wellness credit, great 401k match, HSA match, public transit credit, nice home office peripherals (screens, airpods, sit to stand desk, chair, etc.)

Cons

Lack of clarity on career progression path for certain orgs. Org change is slow even if people are in job codes that no longer make sense for what they do. Lots of red tape for certain projects.

Pros

- Highly challenging work which pushes me to learn and grow - Deep empathy from my manager, with a culture of "burn bright, not out" - Great communication and transparency from leadership - non-volatile work environment, turnover on my team is very low and many team members have been here for a very long time. - Total compensation package is more than fair, and the extra perks really make a difference.

Cons

- Occasionally not as structured as I'd like, but working with manager to outline responsibilities and deliverables has been awesome.
