Pros

Strong products like TurboTax, Quickbooks and Mint. Many opportunities for developers to contribute and make a difference.

Cons

Terrible open plan offices really hurt developer productivity. Intuit packs as many employees into the smallest space possible. The few spaces offered for focus work are always in use.

Pros

High comp, high bonus, high RSUs, great benefits

Cons

Incredibly long hours, highly political and no loyalty to long term employees who drove their $MM growth. Layoffs based on comp levels to make numbers right before the holidays. They do not value older workers even if they say they do Internal and external PR engine masks a company that is full of employees with mental health problems. An incredibly complex, monolithic 30 year old technology architecture on the brink of failure.

Pros

I learned a lot during my tenure

Cons

I left end of 2014, fired after over a decade of exceptional performance. The politics are deadly
