Pros

It's a job with a paycheck & benefits I can't think of ANY other good things to say

Cons

- program managers take the blame for everything that goes wrong because no one else is held accountable to do their jobs - you are expected to be a robot, take the blame, the negative feedback and then turn it all around within 4 weeks time or you are let go. I have witnessed this happening to 2 co-workers that I know of in the last 7 months - if you receive 1 negative VP stakeholder feedback then the entire leadership team loses their confidence in you - there is no direct manager support or mentorship or coaching; you are set up for failure and left to fail - managers are too afraid for their own jobs and therefore do not backup their teams or provide any level of protection even though they know people are being let go for the wrong reasons - tech leaders in this space are toxic, have no clear plan, talk in circles and often disrupt meetings so nothing ever gets done or decided - P&P VP+ leadership lets it happen - key leadership personnel are leaving however I am unsure of their replacements being any better or any more emotionally intelligent - they have drank the kool aid and have been groomed to treat employees very poorly.

Pros

Technical stack are modern, paved roads for service or web plugins are nice and convenient

Cons

The company culture is highly toxic and dominated by a political environment that undermines collaboration and trust. Management fosters a negative atmosphere by prioritizing personal agendas over employee well-being, often using low performance as a pretext to dismiss employees rather than addressing systemic issues or providing support for growth. This toxic leadership style creates a hostile workplace, erodes morale, and stifles productivity, ultimately harming both employees and the organization’s long-term success.

Pros

QuickBooks, free training and remote work opportunities. Great place for people who enjoy being underpaid and used like a slave.

Cons

The commission for contractors is insulting. Any salesperson worth their salt will not tolerate $500 a month in commission for being 150% over goal. Intuit likes to dangle the carrot of “permanent employment” and many fall for the ploy. Sorry, not working to make Intuit millions for $500.
