      Poor Career Growth Opportunities

      Pros

      Base compensation and the 401K match program were both above average for the Atlanta area. The location and facilities were also fantastic.

      Cons

      The Corporate Accounting department is run by incompetent managers who would rather not know about problems (largely problems that they themselves created) than have them identified and resolved . Turnover is very high and open positions are filled with outside contractors. Long-term career growth in the Corporate Accounting department is very low given the small size of the group and the unwillingness for management to invest in the careers of their junior staff.

      Pros

      Great Experience for recent grads - Learn a ton

      Cons

      Workload is extreme. Management does not care about staff - I know this because I have a neighbor in management. Staff turnover is constant. Compensation is well below industry standards but this is part of their strategy - hire tons of recent grads for cheap and they get the necessary "experience needed" for every job they wanted. It is definitely a good place to start but the second you can leave, do it. Also, they don't promote from within. Period.

      Pros

      Salary was above market rate, and our small group was excellent. Many friendships made.

      Cons

      Company worked its employees to the bone, with little to no recognition. After the AIM/Invesco merger, the Invesco IT management was incredibly poor. No respect to their employees, which in turn caused everyone to work with blinders on.
